MIDLAND, TX (KWES) -

The Midland Police Department has made an arrest in connection with a bank robbery last month.

Kevin Renfro, 40, was arrested in Lampasas County on Thursday.

The robbery happened at the Members Financial Federal Credit Union in the 3100 block of N. Big Spring St. back on Sept. 1.

According to our Raycom affiliate, KXXV, a Waco bank was also robbed on Sept. 6 and police believed after looking at surveillance photos that Kevin Renfro was the suspect in that robbery.

KXXV reported that while working alongside the U.S. Marshal's Service, the Lampasas Police Department arrested Renfro at a hotel in Lampasas.

Two other men, Lois Renfro, 46, and Allen Jackson, 41, were also arrested. Lois is charged with hindering apprehension or prosecution and Jackson was arrested on outstanding traffic warrants.

We're told two vehicles believed to be involved in the robberies were also found at the hotel with over one gram of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

After a quick search for Kevin Renfro we learned he's no stranger to the law.

Renfro has a long criminal history dating back to 1995. Renfro has been connected to crimes in several part of Texas including Lubbock, Sweetwater, Wichita Falls and Waco.

Past charges include burglary of a building, evading arrest, assault causing bodily injury to a family member, possession of chemicals with the intent to manufacture and property theft.

Renfro will have to come back to Midland to face his robbery charge.
