ECTOR COUNTY, TX (KWES) - An Ector County grand jury decided there would be no charges for a man in connection to a death that occurred at Jaguars back in March.

District Attorney Bobby Bland said the evidence against Christopher Barger, 41, was presented to the jury, but ultimately no criminal charges were returned in relation to the death of Robert Haynes.

Barger admitted to authorities that he punched Haynes outside of Jaguars back in March. Haynes fell backward and hit his head on the asphalt, suffering a fractured skull and bleeding from his brain.

He went into a coma and died on April 20.
