Falcons reflect on historic win

ODESSA- When the clock struck zero on Saturday night, the UTPB Falcons found themselves with their first win ever and they also found themselves with a sense of relief

"I'm excited," Falcons Head Coach Justin Carrigan said. "I'm excited for the kids, i'm excited for the fans, just a bit of relief now to get it over with and still be undefeated."

The fans support was a dream come true for the Falcons. Ratliff stadium was packed to the brim for a team that they had never seen before.
"It just feels so amazing to see how many people we had come out, how many people support us, how load it was and just the whole college atmoshpere is just amazing," Falcons Quarterback Kameron Mathis said. "It's something I could never thought about or like describe to myself before actually going through it and it's just pretty cool."

The Falcons are in enjoying the moment but that they have to get back to work, in order for this feeling to last."
"Feel really releaved getting the first one out of the way, I think as a team we all are," Falcons Linebacke Emilio Solis said. "Now we have to wake up tomorrow and get ready for arizona cristian and leave this one behind and move on from here, from tonight."

The Falcons will be at home against Arizona Christian next Saturday night. Kickoff will once again be at 7 p.m.
