ODESSA, TX (KWES) - One man is behind bars on several charges after attempting to run from Odessa police on Wednesday.
Marco Bustillos, 18, is charged with evading arrest in a motor vehicle and reckless driving.
Police said officers saw a white Ford F-150 run a red light at University Blvd. and Dixie Blvd.
According to the report, the officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop but Bustillos refused to stop and evaded officers at a high rate of speed.
The vehicle later crashed into a metal fence in the 2300 block of Eisenhower Rd.
Bustillos was arrested and taken to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.
