HOWARD COUNTY, TX (KWES) - The Howard County Sheriff's Office is investigating after 13 malnourished horses were found on Tuesday.
We're told the horses were found in a northern area of Howard County.
Authorities said the horses hadn't been properly fed or watered.
As a result, the horses were seized by officials and are currently being cared for by a local veterinarian.
The case is being investigated as animal cruelty.
