Odessa police release surveillance video from Monday bank robbery

ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

The Odessa Police Department has released surveillance video from Monday's bank robbery.

The robbery occurred just after 3:45 p.m. Monday at the Commercial State Bank, located at 3018 Kermit Highway.

Police said a man walked into the bank and demanded money from the teller.

Authorities stated that the man fled the scene, with an undisclosed amount of cash, possibly in a silver 2004-2008 Ford extended cab pickup that was last seen turning southbound onto West County Road. The suspect's vehicle also had a red sticker on the back window.

We're told no weapons were displayed during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a short Hispanic male, approximately 50 years old, with a mustache, wearing a gray hoodie and smelled of beer and smoke.

No injuries were reported as a result of the robbery.
