Family members desperate for answers following woman's disappearance

ODESSA, TX (KWES) - Bianca Carrasco, 30, went missing almost four months ago in San Antonio. A friend says it's almost like she disappeared without a trace. Now, her family is demanding answers to what happened to their loved one.

"She had her whole life ahead of her," said Bianca's mother, Barbara Talamantez.

Friends and family haven't heard from Bianca since May 1.

Bianca grew up in Odessa, but moved to San Antonio to finish school and become a nurse. She only lived in the area for two years before she went missing.

"She was a nurse. She loved it. I heard different stories every day about her patients," said friend, Rosa Licon.

Police have not ruled out foul play in her disappearance. A police report says before Bianca disappeared, her and her husband were having marital problems.

Police say her husband said he discovered she was having an affair and she gave her wedding ring back to him.

"I think a lot of times we stick with particular situations just out of stubbornness, out of pride. She was ready to get out," said Talamantez.

On that Sunday, May 1,  Bianca's sister says Bianca found out her husband removed all her money out of her bank account and also took her cell phone.

Police tried to pin the phone's location but it was turned off.

Bianca has three young children, ages 5, 9 and 11. They are now living with Bianca's sister in Houston.

"The kids are adjusting well. Their whole world is turned upside down," said Talamantez.

Family and friends just wants some answers on what happened to Bianca.

"I think if she were alive, if she were able, she would be with her kids. If she is being held against her will, then I know my Bianca, she is a fighter," said Talamantez.

Bianca is 5'1" and weighs 125 pounds. She has a tattoo on her left hip and a scar on her abdomen.. She was last seen at the 16000 block of Walnut Creek Dr.

If you have any information on Bianca's disappearance, call the missing person's unit at the San Antonio Police Department at 210-207-7660.
