Caught on Camera: Man steals from local music shop

ODESSA, TX (KWES) - Four guitars worth about $3,000, stolen from N-Tune Music in Odessa. Now, Odessa Crime Stoppers need your help tracking down the thief.

It happened back on July 30 around 3:30 a.m. Not only does he take the guitars, he also breaks through the door, costing the business another $500.

After reviewing surveillance video, officers learned the man had broken the glass door, made the steal and took off in an older model Ford Explorer.

"He took a crowbar and smashes in the door," said Susan Rogers, with Odessa Crime Stoppers. "Once he's inside he takes four guitars that are valued at about $3,000. There's about $500 damage to the door itself."

Police say, he's a white man, wearing gloves, a blue shirt and brown cargo shorts. They believe he's in his 20's or 30's with brown hair.

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time N-Tune Music has been broken in to.

"We have had a couple of burglaries at N-Tune," Rogers said. "They have great surveillance video and we've been able to assist law enforcement with tips on other ones as well. So, I think we'll be able to pick him up pretty quick."

If you have any information on this man, give Odessa Crime Stoppers a call at (432) 333-TIPS. You will remain anonymous and could earn yourself a cash reward.
