MIDLAND, TX (KWES) -

The Texas Department of Public Safety is seeking any information on a murder that occurred in Midland back in 1992.

The case involves the murder of Manuel Galindo, who was 19 at the time of his death.

DPS officials said on Jan. 19, 1992, Galindo was at home with friends when he received a call from his brother asking for a ride.

Police said Galindo and his friends went to the Dog House Lounge to pick up his brother.

According to the report, while Galindo was at the bar, a fight broke out between a group of Hispanic males and spilled over into the parking lot of a nearby Al's Grocery Store.

Authorities said during the fight, Manuel was stabbed several times in the chest and later died in at a local hospital.

No arrests have been made in the case.
