Odessa police: N-N-Out suspects switched cars after robbery

Odessa police say the three suspects in the robbery of a convenience store abandoned one vehicle and jumped into another shortly after the robbery took place.

ODESSA, TX (KWES) - Odessa police say the three suspects in the robbery of a convenience store abandoned one vehicle and jumped into another shortly after the robbery took place.

Authorities say the men were seen, by witnesses, getting out of a white Ford Escape before running and getting into a black Ford F-150.

Further investigation by the police found that the Escape had been reported stolen out of Pecos.

The incident happened at the N-N-Out Convenience Store on West 10th Street around 2:15 p.m. Monday afternoon.

Two employees working in the store told police that three men, two black males and a Hispanic male, walked into the store, pointed an assault rifle at the employees and demanded money from the register.

Police said at one point during the robbery, one of the men jumped over the counter and took one of the money bags at the register.

The men are considered armed and dangerous.
