REEVES COUNTY, TX (KWES) -

New information on a Reeves County man killed in a train crash last Friday night.

Investigators say he did not drive past flashing red warning lights before being hit.

State troopers said the railroad crossing doesn't have lights, just posted signs.

But they confirm Richard Licon, 27, failed to yield the right of way to a train.

The crossing is at County Road 409, about five miles west of Pecos.

Licon died at an Odessa hospital.

The train conductor and engineer were okay.
