ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

Odessa police found several Yeti coolers during a traffic stop that they believe to be stolen and are now looking for their owners.

Around 1:15 a.m. Wednesday morning, officers saw a truck run a red light at the intersection of University Blvd. and Grandview Ave.

Authorities say during the stop, the officers noticed that one of the coolers had a padlock attached to it as well as a cable that had been cut.

Police then seized the coolers as they believed they had been stolen.

The Odessa Police Department asks anyone who has recently had their Yeti cooler stolen to contact the Odessa Police Department at (432) 335-3333 and reference the case number.

Police are asking that if your stolen Yeti cooler has specific identifiable markings or stickers, be sure to report that to authorities when you file a police report.
