MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - The City of Midland is looking for suggestions for a new name for the greater downtown area.
There are numerous projects that are upcoming and Midland Mayor Jerry Morales wants the public to help decide on the name.
We're told a group of downtown stakeholders will consider the various suggested names to be used for future marketing purposes.
City officials said several options include Energy, Fuel, Heritage and Midtown followed by words District, Village or Square.
