HOWARD COUNTY, TX (KWES) - Outdoor burning is once again prohibited in Howard County.

On Monday night, county commissioners reinstated the burn ban at the suggestion of Volunteer Fire Department's Chief Tommy Sullivan.

The burn ban will be in effect for 90 days.

In October, commissioners will have the option to reinstate or dismiss the order at the recommendation of Sullivan.
