ODESSA- The Final round of the Odessa Men's City Championship started as a two man race with Parker Beaty and Jarrett Owens, but it ended in a three man battle thanks to last years defending champion Ciro Baeza.
Parker and Owens were separated by just one stroke to start things off, but for the second straight year Ciro Baeza captured the city championship and he did it by coming back from six strokes back to start the day. He played his best round of the tournament finishing with a 68 and a 207 for the tournament, but this was a fight right until the very end.
Hot on his heels was Jarrett Owens who went into hole 17 just one stroke back of Baeza.
Owens put together a steady round all day.
He finished with a three day total of 211.
The man who lead the majority of the tournament, Parker Beaty, also put in another solid day of work. Finishing with a 78 and a three day total of 211. That tied him for second place with Owens. Beaty is a recent Permian grad and a future Odessa College Wrangler.
