MIDLAND-ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

One man is in custody following a high speed chase on Thursday morning.

We're told it all started with a traffic stop just before 10:30 a.m. in Midland.

Midland police attempted to pull over Trevor Delongchamp, 28, for speeding at the intersection of Elizabeth Avenue and Clark Street in Midland.

Midland police said Delongchamp refused to stop and that's when he took off.

The chase continued westbound on Highway 80 in Midland with speeds reaching 90 miles per hour.

The chase later ended in Odessa at the intersection of Pepperidge Place and Quail Park Place when Delongchamp ditched the vehicle he was driving.

Police said Delongchamp was later found by Odessa police after searching for him for about 5 to 10 minutes.

No injuries were reported.

We're told Delongchamp will be charged with evading and additional charges are pending.
