ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

The Odessa Police Department is investigating following an afternoon bank robbery.

Odessa police said the robbery happened at the Bank of America, located and 7th Street and Grant Avenue, just before 12:15 p.m. Monday.

An investigation revealed that a man walked into the bank, walked up to the teller and handed a note to the teller demanding cash.

The man got away with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen walking southbound on Texas Avenue.

Authorities said no weapons were ever displayed.

The man is described as a black male, 5'10" tall, approximately 35-40 years old, 190-220 pounds with a bald head.
