PECOS COUNTY, TX (KWES) - Mother Nature has returned to the Permian Basin.
The National Weather Service in Midland has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for central Pecos County until 6:45 p.m.
NWS meteorologists said a severe thunderstorm was located over Fort Stockton, moving southeast at 10 miles per hour.
Weather threats include hail damage and high winds.
The city of Fort Stockton and the Fort Stockton-Pecos County airport will be affected by this storm.
