ODESSA, TX (KWES) - One man is behind bars on several charges following an incident on Tuesday morning.
Odessa police said while patrolling in the 4500 block of East University, they were flagged down by a person in reference to a disturbance inside a bar.
When officers got to the bar, they found Matthew Ramirez, 29, intoxicated.
The report said that since Ramirez caused a disturbance and didn't have a sober party to look out for him, he was taken into custody for public intoxication and taken to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.
Police said while Ramirez was being booked at the jail, he became extremely uncooperative and spit saliva onto a Corporal at the jail.
Ramirez is facing charges of harassment of a public servant and public intoxication.
