MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - The City of Midland has announced their water system maintenance is complete.
The process, which started on June 1, included using chlorine and ammonia to disinfect the public water supply.
As a result of the maintenance, city officials will be flushing more fire hydrants in the area to ensure that residents are receiving the freshest water possible at your tap.
However, if your water is faintly discolored, first run your water for a few minutes to see if it clears up. If your water is obviously discolored, you can contact the city of Midland at (432) 685-7260 or submit a report online at https://tx-midland.civicplus.com/forms.aspx?fid=141&anon=1.
