47th Annual July 2nd Celebration
Pioneer Park, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Andrews
Be sure to check out the turtle races beginning at 10 a.m.
There are tons of free activities available all day during the event.
Food vendors will also be available during the celebration.

Scharbauer Sports Complex 4th of July Weekend Fireworks Show
Scharbauer Sports Complex - Midland
Fireworks will follow the Sockers FC match against Saint Louis FC U23.
The match will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Firecracker Fandango
Grant Avenue between 2nd Street and 5th Street, Odessa
Festivities begin at 10 a.m. with the Jaycees Independence Day Parade.
Gates open at 6 p.m. for Firecracker Fandango and will feature live bands and entertainment.
Fireworks will begin at 10 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased at the gate for $18 for adults and $11 for children.

Event will have food vendors and a pre-show. Symphony and Fireworks will begin at 8:30 p.m.

2016 Star Spangled Salute
Hogan Park, 1201 E. Wadley Ave., Midland
Festivities begin with the 54th Annual Children's Sidewalk Parade at 10 a.m.
Food vendors will be available starting at 9 a.m.
A fun zone for children will also be at the event and will open at 7 p.m.
Live entertainment will also begin at 7 p.m. with the fireworks show beginning around 10 p.m.
No admission charge and free parking.
