MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - A man convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a child received a seven year sentence in Midland on Tuesday afternoon.
Alexander Whitehead, 27, was convicted by a jury earlier this week on Monday afternoon.
According to the Midland District Attorney's office, the evidence at trial showed that Whitehead sexually assaulted a female family member back in the summer of 2011.
