ODESSA, TX (KWES) - One woman is facing several charges following an incident in Odessa on Wednesday night.
Odessa police were called out to the east alley of the 1200 block of North Sam Houston Ave.
When officers arrived, six subjects said a woman displayed a rifle in a threatening manner.
Police said all six subjects made similar statements saying that the woman yelled profanities and racial slurs toward them.
The woman was later identified as Sherrie Plummer, 46.
According to the report, Plummer later fled the scene in a maroon Dodge Durango and the six subject flagged down an ECISD police officer they saw at 7-Eleven.
Police said the ECISD police officer began chasing the woman's vehicle.
A high-risk traffic stop was conducted and police found Plummer to be in possession of a black Crossman 760 PumpMaster airsoft rifle.
Plummer was later arrested and taken to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.
