Federal judge sets bond in former Ector Co. deputy’s case

MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - On Wednesday afternoon, a Midland federal judge set a $20,000 bond for Oscar Limon, a former Ector County Sheriff deputy.

The judge set several bond conditions including ordering Limon to stay in Midland and Ector counties, he must not have any contact with anyone involved in the investigation, he must be GPS monitored, his personal firearm will be confiscated, and he has 7-10 days to find an approved job that does not involve firearms.

Limon also waived a preliminary hearing.

Earlier this month Limon was arrested for allegedly tipping off a game room operator about stings and investigations, in exchange for cash.
