LENORAH, TX (KWES) - The second of two suspects involved in the Lenorah Post Office shooting was arrested earlier this month.

The Martin County Sheriff's Office got some good information about where Daniel Permenter, 26, was staying.

With the help of the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force, they picked him up in Howard County back on June 6.

The shooting he was wanted for happened back in December of 2015.

It started when a man offered to take a woman home to Sweetwater at 3:30 in the morning.

But when he went to pick her up at the post office, she wasn't there.

Instead, he was greeted by a pair of men with ski masks and a gun.

He was shot in both arms but was released from the hospital.

The first suspect, Rodney Keleman, 31, was arrested back in April after he was found in Sweetwater.

Now that he's in custody, Permenter is charged with theft of a firearm and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
