BIG SPRING, TX (KWES) - The Big Spring State Park will stay a state park.
The city council agreed to stay in an agreement with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
Under the agreement, both the city and the state will contribute to the operation of the park.
The city will pitch in $20,000.
The deal keeps the designation of a state park and will continue to be promoted in Texas.
