Authorities release new details after body was found in Midland Co.

MIDLAND COUNTY, TX (KWES) - The Midland County Sheriff's Office released more details on a body found on Sunday.

A driver passing by found the body near the train tracks off of Bankhead Highway.

Deputies are still trying to figure out who he is.

We're told that he is a Hispanic man, possibly between the age of 19 and 25 years old.

He was wearing a blue jeans, a blue polo shirt and white tennis shoes.

The sheriff's office said it's possible the man was trying to jump off the train while it was moving.

The body has been sent to Tarrant County for an autopsy.

Union Pacific said if one of their trains was involved, it's unlikely anyone would face consequences.
