HOWARD COUNTY, TX (KWES) - The City of Big Spring is reporting that their outdoor warning sirens are not working at this time.
Officials made the discovery after conducting tests on the system on Monday afternoon.
The Big Spring Police Department believes the lightning from Sunday night's storm is the cause.
In the meantime, authorities will be utilizing the "i-Info West Texas Regional Communications" for emergency notifications as well as social media through local radio stations including KBYG.
