ODESSA, TX (KWES) - A grand jury decided an officer involved in a shooting didn't do anything wrong.
The jury no billed officer Brandon Teneyck in the shooting death of Joel Fabela.
The shooting happened at the beginning of April at the Quality Inn on Highway 80.
He was put on restricted duty until the investigation was over.
Officers were serving a warrant for Jody Threadgill at the motel.
That's where they found Fabela, who started fighting with the officers.
Police fought back, and at some point, Fabela got a gun.
Police say he pointed the gun at them, officers fired, shooting and killing Fabela.
Investigators say Teneyck was the only officer who actually fired his gun.
