STANTON, TX (KWES) - Expect some traffic backups on Interstate 20, near Stanton.
Road crews are resurfacing six miles of the interstate west of Stanton.
Crews will be busting up the pavement and replacing it.
They're also installing new guardrails and signs.
One lane will be closed in each direction during the project and will not re-open at night.
The speed limit will be reduced to 65 miles per hour.
Authorities said you can expect to see more patrol cars in the area.
The project is scheduled to be completed by September.
