Early voting begins for May 24 runoff election

Early voting for the primary runoff on May 24 is underway across the state and will continue throughout the week and wrap up Friday, May 20.

Jodey Arrington and Glen Robertson are seeking to replace current representative Randy Neugebauer, who is retiring, for the District 19 Congressional seat.

There are other races on the ballot as well.

The Democratic ballot has one race which is the railroad commissioner between Grady Yarbrough and Cody Garrett.

The Republican ballot has the railroad commissioner race between Wayne Christian and Gary Gates, several judge positions for the court of criminal appeals, constable for precinct 4 between C.J. Peterson and Brenda Willis, and of course the congressional District 19 race.

For voters in Howard County, all precincts can go to the courthouse located at 300 S. Main St.

Election Day is Tuesday, May 24.
