WEST, TX (KCBD) - After years of wondering, officials may finally have determined the cause of a deadly fertilizer explosion in West, Texas.The Houston division of the ATF and the Texas State Fire Marshall's Office will hold a news conference Wednesday at noon. Previously, the cause of the explosion was "undetermined."
The explosion killed 15 people and injured more than 160 others back in April of 2013. Twelve of those who died were fire fighters or first responders. It also destroyed, or damaged, more than 150 buildings.
