MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - Daniel Arguelles was sentenced Wednesday morning in Midland federal court on child pornography charges.
For possession of child pornography, Arguelles was sentenced to 22 months, and for distribution he received 240 months, according to Daryl Fields, Public Affairs Officer for the United States Attorney's Office.
The sentences will run consecutively, totaling 262 months in federal prison. Arguelles was also ordered to pay restitution of $11,409.53 to a victim.
Arguelles pleaded guilty to the charges back on December 16, 2015 and has been in federal custody since October 9 of last year.
