ECTOR COUNTY, TX (KWES) - The man police believe is responsible for a chemical spill accident on Monday was cited by authorities.
Police identified the driver as Brayden Woods, 23.
Police say Woods was driving a pickup pulling a trailer when the trailer came unhooked and landed on its side.
Chemicals spilled out of the trailer onto Highway 191, near Loop 338.
Authorities say Woods fled the scene.
He will be cited for failure to control speed-striking a fixed object on a highway.
Police said the investigation into the accident is complete but is still being investigated by Ector County Environmental Enforcement.
