ANDREWS, TX (KWES) -

Two people are behind bars after a traffic stop in Andrews turned into a drug bust.

Andrews Police said they stopped a green 2003 Ford Expedition Friday morning on SW Mustang Drive for a traffic violation.

Authorities said during the court of the traffic stop, two people in the vehicle were acting suspicious.

That's when officers found approximately 112 pounds of marijuana hidden inside the cushion areas of the vehicle.

The driver, Denise Delara-Castaneda, 25, and a passenger in the vehicle, Kevin Hernandez, 26, were arrested and charged with delivery of marijuana.

The marijuana has an estimated street value of $680,000.
