Two people are behind bars following a foot chase in Odessa on Monday afternoon.

Odessa police said, they located wanted fugitive Isahia Trevino in the 3800 block of Melody Lane.

Police said Trevino immediately began to flee on foot when he saw officers but was later apprehended.

According to the report, Trevino intentionally prevented detectives from arresting him by resisting and refused all verbal commands.

Authorities said while Trevino was running, a female, later identified as Alexandra Campos, 17, began to yell and chase detectives while they were chasing down Trevino.

Police added that Campos attempted to divert the detective's attention away in an aggressive manner.

The report stated that she was asked several times to stop, Campos ran several hundred feet chasing the detectives while screaming profanities and yelled "Don't take him."

Trevino is charged with evading arrest in a motor vehicle, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, resisting arrest and two counts of evading arrest or detention.

Campos is charged with hindering apprehension.
