A weak cold front will move in late Saturday night dropping our temperatures into the 40's and 50's.
A stronger cold front pushes it's way into West Texas and southeastern New Mexico on Sunday. This will take place around noon and will bring rain for parts of the viewing area. Ahead of the cold front rain showers will form and will continue to last throughout the day on Sunday.
Rain showers will last until Monday evening with the highest totals in the Basin. The cold front will miss the mountain range bringing mostly sunny conditions all day.
Severe weather threat is low. Just rain showers and a few rumbles of thunder will be in the forecast.
Rain totals for the Basin will be around 1 inch. Rain totals diminish the further out West you go.
