FORT STOCKTON, TX (KWES) -

One man was arrested following a fight earlier this week in Fort Stockton.

Fort Stockton police said they were called out to a fight in progress call at 206 S. Main Street last week.

When officers arrived, they saw several people standing outside the building and noticed the broken glass and blood on the floor.

That's when police found Rodney Partridge, 27, bleeding and he was taken to the hospital.

Further investigation revealed that an injured witness reported that she saw Partridge acting unusual.

According to the report, Partridge was asked to leave the business several times but didn’t and even went back into the building asking for money.

Police say when Partridge was told no, he tried to punch the store manager.

Partridge was later arrested and charged with assault and burglary of a building.

He is currently behind bars at the Pecos County Jail.
