RANGER, TEXAS (KWES/KTXS) - A woman found dead outside a Ranger, Texas, convenience store has been identified as a Midland woman.
Ranger Police Chief Larry Watson tells KTXS in Abilene the body of the woman in her 60s was found in a vehicle about two weeks ago outside of Chillerz, located on I-20.
Watson tells KTXS they received a 911 call from another driver who thought someone had hit the building and that's where officers made the discovery.
Police have not released the name of the woman.
Her body was sent to Tarrant County for an autopsy.
No other details have been released and the case is still under investigation.
