Family escapes trailer house fire in Sand Spring

SAND SPRINGS, TX (KBYG/KWES) - A family of three is lucky to be alive following an early morning trailer house fire in Sand Springs.

According to KBYG in Big Spring, the fire sparked up just after 1 a.m. in the 100 block of Colorado Road.

Howard County Volunteer Fire Chief Tommy Sullivan told KBYG that when they arrived on the scene, the trailer house was fully engulfed in flames.

The family of three, living inside the trailer house, were able to escape without injury.

The trailer home is considered a total loss.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
