Woman arrested in Odessa for harboring a fugitive

ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

A woman was arrested in Odessa on Monday for allegedly harboring a fugitive.

Odessa police went to the 1400 block of South Alleghaney in search of Phoenix Granado, 18, who had a warrant out for burglary of a habitation.

Investigators had gone to the residence several times in search of Granado.

Each time, Teresa Renteria, 63, was told that Granado was a wanted fugitive.

On Monday, police were able to arrest Granado as he was leaving the residence.

Renteria was at the home when Granado was arrested.

Renteria was charged with hindering apprehension of a known felon.
