The threat of severe weather returns to West Texas this Friday.
The threat of severe weather will remain north of I-20 between Pecos and Big Spring, including Midland and Odessa. The highest threat will be in the Texas panhandle between Lubbock and Amarillo.
The time line of the storms will be from 2 pm Friday afternoon and last until 12 pm Saturday morning.
The biggest threat will be for:
- Isolated tornadoes
- Quarter-sized hail
- 50+ mph wind gusts
- Flash flooding
