    Lois Hick's family members released video of a woman walking into the funeral home and stealing the wedding ring right off of Hick's finger, while she laid in her casket.

ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

An arrest has been made in connection with a theft from a corpse at a funeral home in Odessa.

Kalynn Homfeld, 41, was arrested on Tuesday afternoon.

Back on Saturday afternoon, police were called out to Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in reference to a theft of a ring from Lois Hicks.

Police said the theft took less than three minutes for her to go into the viewing room and take the wedding ring from Hicks.

Homfeld is charged with theft from a human corpse.

If Homfeld is found guilty, she could spend up to two years behind bars.
