A man caught in Odessa in connection with a deadly officer-involved shooting is now facing a federal charge.
Jody Threadgill has an added charge of felon in possession of a firearm.
The affidavit said when Odessa police finally caught up to him earlier this week, they say he had a gun with him in a stolen vehicle.
The owner of the vehicle said the gun didn't belong to them.
That led investigators to believe the gun belonged to Threadgill even before police started looking for him after last week's deadly officer-involved shooting.
Threadgill has already been convicted of robbery in 2010 making him a felon.
