Fugitive connected to Odessa officer-involved shooting arrested

ODESSA, TX (KWES) - Jody Threadgill, the fugitive that fled from an officer-involved shooting at Quality Inn on Friday night, was arrested by Odessa police.

Odessa police conducted a traffic stop in the 4600 block of Andrews Highway on Tuesday morning.  The driver of the car was identified as Threadgill.

The vehicle Threadgill was driving was stolen and he was also found to be in possession of 2 grams of methamphetamine.

Threadgill was charged with manufacture or delivery of methamphetamine, evading and 2 counts of theft of property.

Federal charges are pending as the investigation continues.
