MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - The Midland Police Department and Midland Fire Department are holding meetings to promote public safety.
Midland police will give the presentations next week about crime statistics.
They'll discuss services they offer such as home security surveys, R.A.D. classes and the Citizens' Police Academy.
They will also talk about how to prevent identity theft and how to keep up to date with crime trends in the area.
The Midland Fire Department will be discussing its free smoke detector installation blitz coming up on April 16.
The District four public safety meeting will be Tuesday, March 29 at the Henderson Elementary Library from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Midland Police will be available to answer questions from District 3 residents from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 31 at the Bowie Elementary Library.
