Flames broke out Wednesday afternoon in the back bedroom of a West Odessa mobile home and left the residence uninhabitable, officials said.

Five units from Odessa Fire/Rescue and another three from the West Odessa Volunteer Fire Department rushed to the 10300 block of Evergreen Circle around 1:30 p.m., according to Battalion Chief Pat Land.
