Suspects attempt to steal saddle during January robbery

ODESSA, TX (KWES) - An investigation continues after two people tried to steal a saddle from one Odessa business.

Odessa police said the robbery happened at Cash America Pawn on North County Road West back on Jan. 15.

When police arrived on the scene, the man took the saddle, valued at $450, without making any attempt to pay for it.

Employees at the store told police when they confronted the robbery suspect, he got into a red Chevrolet Coupe and fled the scene.

According to the report, two employees were hit by the vehicle and suffered minor injuries. However, one of the employees was able to retrieve the stolen saddle before vehicle fled the scene.

Authorities are looking for two people in connection with the robbery.

The first suspect is described as a white male in his 30's, approximately 5'8" tall and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark colored hoodie and blue hat.

The second suspect is described as a white female in her 30's with curly blonde hair.

Police said both suspects possibly have ties to Crane.
