Authorities have made an arrest in connection with a bank theft in Odessa.
Police were called out to the Bank of America at 700 North Grant Avenue on Feb. 18 after a victim reported that someone had stolen his money.
According to the report, the victim reported that he left his bank envelope inside the bank, which contained over $7,000, and the suspect fled from the bank.
Then about two weeks later, bank employees reported to Odessa police that the same man who stole the money was back inside the bank.
The man, later identified as Guillermo Camacho, 44, admitted that he knew the money wasn't his and failed to return it to the owner.
Camacho was later arrested and charged with theft of property.
