BIG SPRING, TX (KWES) - The storm that hit the basin on Monday night left its mark in Big Spring.
Two tank batteries caught fire because of the lightning.
Howard County Volunteer Fire Chief Tommy Sullivan said the first fire began around 7:30 p.m.
The bigger of the two fires took about an hour to put out.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
